Nice place to spend the day at! Buying the Cable Car pass entitles you to a beautiful ride up the mountains, a trip to the 3D Museum where it’s huge, SkyDome where there’s a dome style short screening (kids loved it), and SkyRex which is a dinosaur 3D ride. We also visited a petting zoo which was in the vicinity. Super recommend this place. There’re plenty of halal places to eat at. A hawker area, and an air-conditioned bubble tea place to chill at if a kid needs a nap.

Yes, this place can be quite heat if you visit during afternoon. There is rarely some roof / rest place to shield you from blazing sun. Sunblock is recommended before you visit....

Visit the Oriental Village during a weekday that is not during public and school holidays if you hate crowds and long queues. It is a pleasant place to relax without the crowd. Parking is easier during working weekdays. Please be aware that the closest parking lots are more expensive. Retail outlets are typical tourist shops that include souvenir shops, chocolate based snack shops and eateries. The Village is at the foot of a picturesque group of hills and mountains, providing a beautiful backdrop. The popular attractions here are the exhilarating cable car trip to the viewing platforms on Mount Macincang, the amazing curvilinear skybridge, the 3D illusion gallery and the skydome. There is a mini zoo too under the cable car lines.

You can spend an entire day here. Take cable car to go up the mountains and see the sky bridge. There are other attractions also like 3d museum, sky rex and sky dome. This place is very instagramable.

Ah ! Steepest cable car that we as friends sat on. Amazing ride to the bridge and what a view ! We took the cable care with a transparent bottom and it just added more fun to our ride to the bridge. Amazing place a must visit if one is in Langkawi

Free entrance. There are places to take photos. Ice cream and coffee shops are there to lepak for a while. Can go to 3D museum if you are interested. I will not really recommend if you want to come here but not taking the cable car.

The concept of the Oriental Village kind of makes sense - when you have an attraction like the cable car ride it seems like a good idea to put some food and drink places around it. We were lucky to find some great places like the German Food place but our experiences in a few of the others were not so great. We had a coffee in Richmond (I think it was called Richmond) and the service was really quite poor. If we had received the same attitude in the UK I would have complained. Staff don’t seem to want to serve you or give you some stinking looks. We were the only people at the til, the lady behind the counter looked straight at us and then turned her back and sat down, ignoring us completely. The cable car ride gives you a spectacular view and I feel it was good value for money. It also gives you free entry into a few other bits and bobs there. We were lucky enough to see a beautiful egret in the pond there so there are some wonderful features to the Oriental Village but I can’t help feeling that perhaps some of the shop owners are not keen on European tourists?

Just an ok place to visit, at least they don't charged entries. There are paid parkings, one is priviledge parking cost about RM10, the other is standard parking cost about RM3/hour. I would not recommend to dine here because i tried a few and it is dissapointing. It is also pricey including the ice cream and pisang goreng. Just get what you need from 7 Eleven like drinks or ice cream. Their prices are normal and standard. I don't mind pricey if is good food because I understand the rent cost can be higher than normal but it is not good at all.
